will be presenting on Thursday, April 26th at 8:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) via Adobe
Connect, to all our students what is available at state and federal levels and
will offer insight into the expanded roles of emergency management and the ESF
#8 partners for the next 5 years. The federal government has helped states build
capacity for health-related emergency preparedness for several years and has
added many federal assets since 2001. As the public health and healthcare grants
align and begin to coordinate with the State Homeland Security Grant program
grants within the next 5 years, there will be closer coordination and
collaboration between emergency managers and the healthcare sector will be
