Job Duties:
Under the direction of the Hospital System Director of Emergency Preparedness, design, implement, oversee and test all elements of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA Emergency Management and Disaster Preparedness programs in coordination with those of the UCLA Health System and UCLA Campus. Ensure programs meet the disaster preparedness and response objectives of the System and ensure ability of System to provide for faculty, staff, students, and patients and respond to the needs of the community, during and immediately following a disaster. Ensure program complies with regulatory requirements and is integrated with community activities, plans and expectations.
Job Qualifications:
Emergency Management experience desired in academic, research, or clinical setting. CEM preferred. Bachelors or Masters Degree in Emergency Management, Public, Health, Public Administration, or similar preferred.
